Privacy and data use
This page describes how the current ChooSpin website uses data. We update it when functions change. Contact the brand email with data or privacy questions.
Google sign-in and cloud wheels
If you choose Google sign-in, we use the account identifier, email, name and image you authorize for sign-in and wheel permissions. Cloud data includes wheel titles, options, descriptions, links, saving and sharing status. Login sessions are stored on the server. We do not ask for your Google password.
Session measurement
A first-party analytics cookie lasts 30 minutes. The server stores a random identifier hash and bounded event flags. Admin reports aggregate the last 30 days; marked QA and automated verification are excluded. Sessions are not unique people across devices.
Guest identity and browser storage
Cloud guest wheels use a necessary first-party cookie to identify their owner; the server stores a hash of that identity and wheel data. Editing content, language preferences and some usage records may use localStorage in your browser; the language preference also uses a cookie. Campaign attribution uses sessionStorage within a browser session. Clearing browser data can remove your ability to manage a previous guest cloud wheel.
Aggregate usage events
Current analytics record fixed event types, page categories and validated source and campaign tags as daily counts, not a report identifying each visitor. These events do not send option text, a Google account or a full URL. With Do Not Track enabled, the browser does not send these analytics events. Hosting and service providers may still process connection and security logs.
Public sharing and result images
Anyone with a valid share link can see the wheel content. Downloaded or shared result images also contain option content and information linking back to the site. Do not enter sensitive information about yourself or others. Check what will be visible before sharing.
Providers and external links
The public site uses Netlify, the database uses Supabase, and sign-in uses Google. These providers process necessary data under their service settings. Map, shop and other external links open third-party services whose own terms and privacy policies apply.
Advertising status
Advertising is currently disabled and no Google advertising script is loaded. If advertising or non-essential tracking is enabled later, we will update this information and provide consent controls where required.
Data requests and retention
Email us to ask about data, request a correction or submit a deletion request. We need to identify the relevant account or wheel. There is currently no automatic account deletion page. We have not published a uniform retention or deletion schedule for data, backups and provider logs; a cookie expiration is not a guarantee that server data has been deleted.
